How Unity Sports Club collects and protects your child's information.
What we collect
When you register a player, we collect only what we need to run the club safely:
- Child's name, date of birth, gender and school
- Parent/guardian name, phone number and email (optional)
- Preferred training venue, payment plan and uniform sizes
How we use it
- To register your child and place them in the right age group
- To contact you about training, fees and club announcements
- To match M-Pesa payments to your child's registration
- To manage group accident cover for registered players
What we never do
- We never sell or share your child's data with third parties for marketing.
- We never publish a child's full name alongside a photo.
- We never publish personal details such as a child's school or home area.
Photos
Photos of children are only published with parent/guardian consent. You may withdraw photo consent at any time by contacting the club.
Storage & retention
Registration records are stored securely and accessed only by club officials who need them. Records are kept while your child is an active member and removed within 12 months of leaving the club, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your child's personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact the club.
